New Partnership: Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore)
We are honored to be partnering the Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore), ACTS in short, and serving as their outreach channel.
ACTS was founded in 1991 and its main objectives are;
1) to enhance treasury management skills and knowledge of senior financial officers of large and medium size companies (both MNCs and Local Corporation in Singapore) in the areas of corporate finance, foreign exchange, cash management, financial planning, banking products and services, banking/finance regulatory environment and developments (in Singapore financial markets)
2) to promote interaction between senior financial officers of large and medium size companies (both MNCs and Local Corporations) in Singapore.
Till now, ACTS has grown and evolved over the years to about 200 members. And ACTS is still aspiring to gain new members and increase its coverage.
The decision to go digital is straightforward; it will enhance ACTS’s outreach and greatly convenience the members’ access.
What to look out for in the ACTS x TFA partnership?
1) ACTS EXCO features and focus articles
TFA Geeks will publish and writeup articles on each distinguished ACTS EXCO members. And more importantly, through their valuable insights and sharing of vast experience, the articles will bring value to anyone in the Treasury, Finance and Accounting space.
2) ACTS newsletter and events
ACTS will publish their monthly newsletter on TFA Geeks not only for their members but to anyone in the Treasury, Finance and Accounting space to read, share and connect.
In it, one can find the calendar of ACTS endorsed events and catch up on past ACTS events through post event summaries. We will attempt to get some comments, highlights and interviews with ACTS members on their current issues, topics and knowledge sharing.
3) Ask|Share|Connect with ACTS
Users can try posting their queries on TFA Geeks Ask an Expert section and hopefully, through crowdsourcing, we can get answers from proven experts and practitioners.
From time to time, we will feature ACTS members and get them to share their career paths and hopefully some tips for aspirants to the Corporate Treasury space.
